It's Summer and the street construction crews have come out of hibernation. It seems like most of the major roads are under construction.

The traffic slowdowns can be annoying, but they also give you time to enjoy the beautiful 
Summer skies.
Chunks of the old street were piled up awaiting the cleanup crew.
This summer, several neighborhood streets were repaired.  Large sections of old concrete were replaced.The construction made it difficult to get around the neighborhood for a few days. A little exploring was necessary, every evening, to find a new route home.A little inconvenience was a small price to pay for a new, smooth ride.
These guys went around the neighborhood picking up the old, broken pieces.
A few days later...

The work on the front of the building is complete and a shipment of furniture has arrived.
All of the windows will be trimmed in black.
At the end of the day the canopy is in place.
...and temporarily places it on wood blocks.
A few days later, a crew lifts the new canopy from the delivery truck...
