Georges > Every year, just before the Fourth of July, the suburbs of Omaha are invaded by giant monsters.Fireworks, banned in Omaha, are legal in the suburbs.  Stands like these sprout up overnight.  Each location sells fireworks to raise funds for a different charity.I've always appreciated the irony of selling fireworks to support the volunteer fire department.
Georges > You can't tell the road is closed by the the tire tracks in the dirt.  Looks like there are quite a few folks that don't need paved roads.
Georges > Pentax DA 16-45mm lens.  In the past, some cameras have had difficulty with solid red.
Georges > A van decorated with old computer circuit boards.  The sign says it's an art project.  This was one of the last units in the parade.
Georges > There are always a lot of fire engines, both modern and antique.
Georges > These were the first of the antique cars.
Georges > This car wasn't part of the parade, but was parked along the route.
Georges > Steve and Grandma.
