The Wildlife Safari is a drive-through conservation park. It's an extension of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo. These are a few photos taken during a visit in April, 2006.
The bears and wolves share a very large space. This wolf was chasing off an intruder.
This bear was digging for something. He found it and wandered off.
This small creek runs through the wildlife park.
I spotted this pheasant hiding in the brush.
Colorful growths covered this small tree.
Several bison were gathered together at mid-day.
This turtle was sunning himself on a log. There is a small wetlands in the park.
The pelicans seem to own the wetlands. Several of them were sunning themselves in the middle of the road. The cars don't seem to bother them.
