The UP Big Boy locomotive moves to it's new home.
Once the locomotive cleared the poles on either end it could return to a slightly faster pace.
The guys on the roof had a pretty good view.
There was plenty of time for these fellows to get out of the way.
Returning to the street.
The steering team slowly returned the locomotive to a straight course.
It took a few more hours to go the remaining four blocks to complete the trip. In April, the large diesel locomotive, "the Centenial",made the same trip and joined it's companion.
