The historic Aquila Court Building gets a new owner and a facelift.
The Magnolia Hotel chain has purchased the historic Aquila Court building.
In addition to major internal remodeling there has been a lot of outside cleanup.

These workers are replacing the windows.
A representative of the new owner said each of the 145 rooms will have artwork from local artists.

The Aquila is listed on the National Register of Historic places. You can see one face of another historic Omaha building, the Flatiron, to the right.

All of the windows will be trimmed in black.
A few days later, a crew lifts the new canopy from the delivery truck...
...and temporarily places it on wood blocks.
At the end of the day the canopy is in place.
